About Capitol Bicycles

The Capitol Performance Bicycle Company produces hand made, bespoke bicycle frames, unique to each cycling client.  Based in the heart of London, Kentucky, Capitol Bicycles is not limited by physical location, having shipped frames and complete bicycles both within the USA and abroad.

By using the client’s actual body measurements to determine the starting point, the custom frame sizing is designed specifically for each individual’s exact requirements.  Materials, tube lengths and angles are adjusted to craft the signature “One of One” bicycles – no generic “small” / “medium” or “large” here!

Each project is an intimate collaboration with the cyclist, with discussions around your current bicycles, aspects of each that give you the ride qualities that you enjoy, any pain points you may have, and looking ahead to future goals and ambitions. Considering all of these, we build a frame to suit your requirements.

With fit and comfort our primary objectives, we also review current and upcoming design trends to “future proof” each frame to produce a bicycle to love and enjoy well into the future. With so many options and variations to building a frame, unlike off the shelf bicycles, we can often tick many boxes in a single product.

Custom “One of One” paintwork is imagined to represent you on the bike, creating a personalized finish together to suit the style and design of the frame.

To further customize the bicycle, the components for a full build are individually selected to balance your budget considerations and performance requirements..
